What CSV is useful for
CSV is designed for tabular data such as:
- bills of materials;
- scenario comparison tables;
- feed or inventory rows;
- grazing schedules;
- livestock groups;
- carrier quote comparisons;
- mapped feature inventories;
- product/tank tables.
Open the file
Most spreadsheet applications can open CSV directly. Check units and column headings before adding your own formulas.
CSV is not a complete backup
A CSV does not normally include all settings, geometry, map camera state, UI state, or other information required to rebuild a full RanchAssist project. Use .ra for save/resume.
