Protect important work first

If the project contains significant unsaved work and Save Project is available, create a .ra file before reloading, clearing the session, or making major changes.

Common issues

A paddock shows very few graze days

Check mapped acreage, forage estimate, utilization, reserve, and herd demand.

Recovery warning appears

The planned return is earlier than the paddock’s user-defined recovery target. Reorder, lengthen the cycle, or adjust assumptions only when justified.

Schedule dates look wrong

Check the rotation order, start date, and graze days generated or entered for each paddock.

Map acreage is wrong

Inspect polygon vertices closely and correct the paddock boundary before relying on capacity results.

If the result still does not make sense

Return to the primary inputs and verify units, then open View Calculation Details where available. Compare the displayed formula inputs with the values you intended to enter. Next, remove nonessential Advanced assumptions and add them back one at a time.

If a map feature is involved

Check geometry at close zoom, layer visibility, and whether the correct feature is selected. A misplaced point or duplicate feature can materially change area, distance, or cost results.

Projected graze/rest dates depend on user-entered forage and recovery assumptions and are not guarantees of forage regrowth. Field observation and local agronomic guidance should govern actual moves.
