Protect important work first
If the project contains significant unsaved work and Save Project is available, create a .ra file before reloading, clearing the session, or making major changes.
Common issues
Reorder warning is too early or late
Check inventory, projected usage, package size, feeding frequency, and supplier lead time.
Supplement quantity looks wrong
Verify whether the rate is per head, the frequency is correct, and the package size/unit matches the entered cost.
Scenario totals differ sharply
Compare duration, intake, waste, and supplement-rate changes between scenarios.
Budget is missing an item
Review all repeatable supplement rows and confirm each has quantity/rate and price information.
If the result still does not make sense
Return to the primary inputs and verify units, then open View Calculation Details where available. Compare the displayed formula inputs with the values you intended to enter. Next, remove nonessential Advanced assumptions and add them back one at a time.
If a map feature is involved
Check geometry at close zoom, layer visibility, and whether the correct feature is selected. A misplaced point or duplicate feature can materially change area, distance, or cost results.

Seasonal feed planning is sensitive to weather, forage quality, animal condition, product nutrient content, actual intake, and supplier availability. Treat scenario adjustments as planning assumptions, not forecasts.
